Filter Question: Post-question Filter (multiple selection statement). If respondent selects both option 4 and 5 for this question, the respondent skips to a specific question later in the survey.

This example is used to jump to a later question in the survey if a respondent selects two specific responses for this question. In this example, the survey will skip to question 20 if the respondent selects option 4 and 5 in a multiple selection check box question. If 4 and 5 are not selected, the survey proceeds to question 17 as usual.

1. Click Select a Question Type>Standard Questions>Multiple Selection Check Box from the Question menu.

2. Click Required Question from the Option screen.
3. Click Create filters for this question.
4. Click Build Post-Question Filter.
5. Use the filter wizard to complete the filter statement. Enter the question from which to select the response,  Q18, for example.

6. Select = as the comparison operator.
7. Select 4 as the response option.
8. Select Q20 as the question to which to jump if the user selects both options 4 and 5 for the selected question.
9. Click Add to add to the filter.
10. Click AND as your conditional operator.
11. Select Q18 as the question.
12. Select 5 as the response option.
13. Click Save from the Filter Wizard.
14. Click Save from the Options window.
15. Create your question text and answer options for this question using Set Question Text and Set Answer Options. Click Add Codes Ascending to assign values to the response options.
16. Save the question.
