We are strongly committed to your privacy whilst completing your details and any further future surveys.

We would like to outline just how we aim to deliver upon that promise.

PARRAMATTA CITY COUNCIL is a Local Council with its corporate headquarters located at 30 Darcy Street, Parramatta.

PARRAMATTA CITY COUNCIL is a reputable, governing organisation who is responsible for Council services to over 144,000 residents in the Parramatta Local Government Area.

Council will collect and use the personal information obtained through the completion of this questionnaire only for the purpose of the Residents’ Panel.

The Council will in collecting and holding any personal information provided by you, comply with the requirements of the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998, and in particular with the Information Protection Principles contained in Part 2 thereof. Council will not use or disclose personal information collected by it for a purpose other than that purpose for which the information has been provided unless we have received the consent of the individual involved.

You always remain in control of the information with which you kindly provide us in our surveys. The information you give us is used only at a macro level this means that responses are only viewed at either as a percentage or as a combined figure, (for example 60% of those who completed the survey thought that….). As such the results you give are in no way traceable to you now or in the future.

From time to time, we do store data from our surveys on databases. Once again this will be held in aggregate format. It will be held securely only by PARRAMATTA CITY COUNCIL.

As a result of taking part in this survey, we will not attempt to trade, sell or share your information with any other party.

In providing us with information through our Online surveys, we are bound to inform you that this will cost you the price of Internet time through your Internet Service Provider or Telecommunications company. This is typically the cost of a local phone call for the duration of the survey if you are completing a survey Online.

You can choose to be contacted or not in the future. As a member of the Resident Panel, you have been invited entirely at random to take part in this survey. You may be invited again in the future for surveys similar to this one. If you do not wish to be contacted, please us to take you off the panel.
